Fresh Start is an extension that restores a Macintosh's OS and application settings to previously-captured standard settings at machine startup.
Particularly useful if your Mac is shared among a number of users, Fresh Start gives you the freedom to allow users to change almost any Mac OS or application settings -- for example, sound levels, desktop patterns, internet settings, keyboard layouts, proxy server settings, printer settings. When the Mac is restarted, Fresh Start restores the standard settings, quickly and quietly.
Use this installer to install Fresh Start. After two restarts, Fresh Start will automatically generate a master copy of the Mac's settings. Afterwards, every time the Mac is restarted, Fresh Start will provide the Mac OS with a fresh copy of these master settings. In this way, the Mac's settings is restored to what they were when the master copy was made.
Fresh Start is fast, and doesn't delay startup or shutdown. After startup, while your Mac is busy doing other things, Fresh Start makes up a new copy of the master settings in the background, ready for the next time the Mac is restarted.
Fresh Start needs no programming, and uses no network facilities.

Register Your Shareware
Fresh Start is Shareware. You may evaluate it free for up to 30 days. After 30 days, you must register your shareware by sending the appropriate fee to Kagi software. You can register online (consult the documentation in the Welcome to Fresh Start folder that’s placed on the Mac’s desktop). Or use the program “Register Fresh Start” to make your registration easy. It generate email or postal registration forms and pro-forma invoices, and calculates registration fees simply and automatically.

An Unrestricted Site License entitles you to use Fresh Start on any number of your machines at one site.
A Worldwide License entitles you to use Fresh Start on any number of your machines anywhere in the world.
You can register online or by using the "Register Fresh Start" in the Welcome to Fresh Start folder. When your registration is processed, you'll receive a registration code by email which you use when reinstalling Fresh Start. The registration code will remove the time restriction from Fresh Start. The splash screen will be replaced by a smaller quicker splash.
Register Online
The quickest and easiest way is to register via the Internet. Open one of the Read Me documents in the “Welcome to Fresh Start” folder that will be installed on your desktop. Click on the “Purchase & Register” link. This will bring you to the Purchase and Register page. You’ll see a large “Buy it Online” graphic on that page. Click on it and follow the instructions.
Register by Email, Fax, Post
If you prefer, you can register via email, fax or post with the help of the “Register Fresh Start” application that will be installed in the “Welcome to Fresh Start” folder on your desktop. Open the Register Fresh Start program. Enter your name, your email address, and the number of single user licenses you desire for each program you wish to purchase. Save or Copy or Print the data from the Register program and send the data and payment to Kagi.
If paying with Credit Card or First Virtual, you can email or fax the data to Kagi. Their email address is sales@kagi.com and their fax number is +1 510 652-6589. You can either Copy the data from Register and paste into the body of an email message or you can Save the data to a file and you can attach that file to an email message. There is no need to compress the data file, it's already pretty small. If you have a fax modem, just Print the data to the Kagi fax number.
Payments sent via email are processed within 3 to 4 days. You will receive an email acknowledgement when it is processed. Payments sent via fax take up to 10 days and if you provide a correct internet email address you will receive an email acknowledgement.
If you are paying with Cash or USD Check you should print the data using the Register application and send it to the address shown on the form, which is:
Kagi
1442-A Walnut Street #392-2YR
Berkeley, California 94709-1405
USA
You can pay with a wide variety of cash from different countries but at present if you pay via check, it must be a check drawn in US Dollars. Kagi cannot accept checks in other currencies, the conversion rate for non-US$ checks is around US$15 per check and that is just not practical.
If you have a purchasing department, you can enter all the data into the Register Fresh Start program and then select Invoice as your payment method. Print three copies of the form and send it to your accounts payable people. You might want to highlight the line that mentions that they must include a copy of the form with their payment.
Kagi can not invoice your company, you need to act on our behalf and generate the invoice and handle all the paperwork on your end.
Please do not fax or email payment forms that indicate Cash, Check or Invoice as the payment method. As far as we know, there is still no technology to transfer physical objects via fax or email and without the payment, the form cannot be processed.
Payments send via postal mail take time to reach Kagi and then up to 10 days for processing. Again, if you include a correct email address, you will hear from Kagi when the form is processed.
